Of Madison Creek, WV
Carl Brady Chambers, 79, of Madison Creek, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 19, 2014, from Logan Regional Medical Center, after a short illness.
He was born March 13, 1935, at Fort Branch, the son of the late Calvin and Maude Ellis Chambers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Vivian Marie Chambers; one daughter, Vivian Annmarie Chambers; three grandsons, John Depta, Anthony Chambers, and Brian Steven Robinson; one granddaughter, Rebecca Ellison; five brothers, and three sisters.
Carl was a vendor employed with Pepsi Cola who retired after 30 years of service. He was known as "The Pepsi Man". He loved to ginseng, watch for bears, and spend time with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory are seven children, Rose Justice of Pennsboro, Charlene (Ance Gillman) Yowler of Man, Barbara (Paul, Jr.) Ellison, Carl Phillip Chambers, and Paul Matthew (Rebecca) Chambers, all of Rita, Sally (Scott Baisden) Ellison of Logan, and Pauletta (Jackie) Walls of Earling: one brother, Curtis (Wanda) Chambers of Delbarton; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Curtis Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home and one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
