There are so many memories from the onion-peanut butter sandwich to the short fun drives to the store that were more like a roller coaster on purpose to make it fun for us. We know you are healthy & happy with aunt Marie in heaven & here on Earth we will treasure those memories we have of you forever. Our Love to the family.

I'll never have another uncle like my Uncle Carl. I remember riding the "pop" truck when we were 9 and 10 years old. begging Mom to let me go with Paul Mac and Phillip. Those were the days, none of us wanted to ride in the middle cause we knew we were in trouble. Uncle Carl be driving up Buffalo Creek and all the sudden this great big hand came down on your leg or your knee.. Loved the summers when we could go on the route. He'd stop and buy us hot dogs from Cliffside or stop at one of the stores and get bologna and bread, we never starved on that route. And when we grew up, as teens I don't think we ever paid to get into a Hillbillie football game. Uncle Carl was a true Billie's fan. football Firday's and pizza at the house after the game. Spent many Friday night's at 1 or 2 in the morning eating pizza. Like I said I'll never have another uncle like my Uncle Carl...to the Kids: Sorry for your loss, but he's where he's longed to be..Love you all...To Jamie, Amy & Bonnie..You guys treasure up those memories, as long as they are in your heart your Papaw will be right there with you...and sometime in the wee hours of the morning when all is still..just listen and u may hear him calling your name.....Love you All...

To one of the greatest men I ever had the honors of knowing and loving in my life. I will always love and remember you. You always showed everyone love, and we all enjoyed coming to mamaw & papaws house. I remember spending weekends with you & mamaw. You would always get us pizza from Frank's and make us ice cream cones. I'm not really sure how to go on without you & mamaw, but I know I must because now it's my turn to take care of your great-grandbabies. I promise I will try my best to show them as much love as you showed us. I will always love & miss you & mamaw, and always be proud to say that Carl "The Pepsi Man" Chambers was my grandpa. I LOVE you papaw always & forever & one day I want to stroll over heaven with you, mamaw, John, mamaw Bonnie, & papaw John.

I'm going to miss my papaw more then I've ever missed anyone. I love & respect him so much. He's the only man I know that has never had anyone say a bad word about him has no enemies always treated ppl the way he'd want to be treated and loved my mamaw and family more then anything. He was perfect in every way and I know he will be the most perfect angle to watch over his family. I'd rather have him here watching us but he was ready to go be with mamaw. I miss them both so very much. I'm proud he's my papaw. I'll never forget all he done for not just me but all of us. He treated his grand kids as his own children, probably let us by with more then his kids, but he was so great to each and everyone of us. I love my Papaw Carl.
