My Aunt Janis was a gentle, patient soul who walked through this life with the intent to do only good. Her chicken dumplings were delicious, her red velvet cake the best. She was slow to judge, quick to forgive. A devout woman of faith, she was a life long member of the Becco United Baptist Church. I would go to Church with her when I visited as a child. She had a beautiful singing voice,and could harmonize any song. She will be missed by all who knew her. Her suffering is done and now she walks in sunlight. I believe there is one more star shining in the night sky over Amherstdale. May she rest in peace.
