Nanny has been a huge blessing in my life for almost 42 years now. I am so thankful for her loving presence throughout my adult life. No one could ask for a better mother-in-law, and I am so grateful to have had her as mine. I will miss her and carry her in my heart for the rest of my life.

I remember Nancy from my childhood at Unity FWB Church. What a shining light of Christ she was. She loved the Lord and served him every day and it showed in her face and her life. May we all strive to do the same. God bless her family and friends with the peace of knowing that she is more alive than ever before.

Dear Aunt Nanny,
You and your family were always there for our family. You truly had a servant's heart. So kind, generous and always checking to see what you could do to help others. So thankful as a christian I will see you again some day. You will be missed. Love you Aunt Nanny!! Gayle McCoy

When we lost Roy Smith, she and Bertha took in all our families. When we lost his son Phil, my husband, I didn't know anyone down there knew about it, but there she was with Edwina at the cemetery. She was so sweet. We were separated by distance, but I always enjoyed talking to her on the phone. I'm sure she touched many lives in the best of ways. So sorry for the family's loss.

How well I remember Nancy. She went to the same church we attended. Unity Freewill Baptist Church in Cleveland , Ohio. She was one that I always looked up to. I would love to hear her testify the praises of the Lord. She sang with my Dad, Virgil Ferrell and my aunt Midge Ferrell. The one I remember the most was “I’ve Been To Calvary” we all loved Nancy. I am sure she will be missed! There is another meeting place, where we will meet once more.
