Sandra Faye Brown

of Man, WV

   Sandra Faye “Sandy” Brown, 71, of Man, went to her Heavenly home on Friday, April 12, 2019, leaving from her earthly home at Man, after a long illness.

   She was born on March 18, 1948, at Man, the daughter of the late Carl Lloyd and Ruth Smith Belcher.

   Sandra was a 1967 graduate of Man High School.  Devoted to her family, she loved her children and grandchildren.  Sandy enjoyed decorating for the holidays, working in the yard, and camping.  A talented crafter, Sandy made beautiful flower arrangements, wreaths, and painted especially ceramics.  She loved to shop and go to flea markets.  Sandy was a member of the Hunt Freewill Baptist Tabernacle where she was a member of the Ladies Aide.

   Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Jimmy Lee Brown; one daughter, Lisa (Jerry) Justice of Elk Creek; two sons, Jimmy Lee (Elizabeth) Brown, Jr. and Brian (Celesta) Brown, both of Greenville; seven grandchildren, Whitney Brown and her fiancé, Coty Bays, Austen Jake Brown and his girlfriend, Summer Combs, Mikel Tee Brown, Nick Justice and his girlfriend, Madison Sizemore, Tyler Justice, Matthew Brown and his girlfriend, Emilee, and Brianna Brown; one great-grandson, Broty Bays due to arrive on May 5, 2019; three sisters, Mary Belcher and Shirley Belcher, both of Columbus, OH, and Carol (Billy) Nester of Mansfield, OH; two brothers, Lloyd (Cathy) Belcher of Harrisonburg, PA and Billy Belcher of New Mexico; a special aunt, Macileen Smith of Ethel; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives, church family, and friends.

   A celebration of Sandy’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at the Hunt Freewill Baptist Church at Hunt with Rev. Donald Ellis and Brother Danny Browning officiating.  She will lovingly be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.

   Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church also.

    Pallbearers will be her sons, grandsons, Kevin Brown, Dale Browning, and Eric Decker.

   In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Dignity Hospice, P.O. Box 4304, Chapmanville, WV  25508.
