Obituary of Douglas Lee Morgan
Douglas Lee Morgan
Of Man, WV
Doug Morgan, 60, of Man went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, leaving from CAMC-Memorial Division, with all of his loving family around him, after a long fight with cancer.
He was born on May 13, 1958, in
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two older sisters, Carol Sue Morgan and Sandra Faye Morgan; his grandparents,
Doug was a devoted Christian and a member of the
Family was everything to Doug. He has a special Uncle Don Morgan who took him to the Dairy Queen all the time. Don calls him “DQ” to this day. His cousin Tony Cline was his hero for as long as he could remember. He loved his 4-wheeling time with his dad “Ub” and best friend Bob Kennedy, his big brother Kenny who was right there with him. He could never have asked for a better brother, one who always had his back. His sisters, Brenda Plymale and Lisa Sias were very special in his life. Sue and Mike Cline will miss him on their back porch in the early morning drinking coffee. He loved all his family and friends….there are just too many to mention.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Janet; his son, Shay (Misty) Morgan that he was so proud of; his dad, Ulbert “Ub” Morgan of Man; sisters, Brenda Plymale of Landville, Lisa (Kenny) Sias of Midlothian, VA; brother, Kenny (Marlene) Morgan of Man; four grandchildren, Justin, Christian, Max, and Kinley Morgan, all who held his heart from the first sight. Doug also has a family tree full of favorite aunts (you know who you are), nieces and nephews. He landed in the crazy Caldwell family where he inherited three sisters-in-law who were a handful, Brenda (Gerald) Carter, Betty Jane (Harold) Willard, and Donna and Sue; two brothers-in-law, Dennis (Mary) Caldwell and Tyrone Caldwell who always loved him and called him brother; and his friend Beth who loved him dearly, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
