William E. “Billy” Brown

Of Bruno, WV

William Edwin “Billy” Brown, 41, of Bruno, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 25, 2018, leaving from his residence, after a long illness.

   He was born March 4, 1977, at Man, a son of the late Linze, Jr. and Deborah Ann Carter Brown.

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nikki Brown; one brother, Jamey Brown; his maternal grandparents, James and Opal Carter; and his paternal grandparents, Linze Sr. and Gaye Brown.

   Billy was a 1995 graduate of Man High School.  He worked as a security guard for several years before he became disabled.  When he was able, Billy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR especially Jimmy Johnson (48).  He was also a New York Yankees fan.

   Those left to cherish his memory are his uncle, Ricky and Wanda Brown of Davin; his great-uncles and great-aunts, Gerald and Brenda Carter of Bruno and Betty and Bob Surface of Linside; special cousins, Rick, Jr. and Sarah Brown, Becky Brown, Brian and Robin Harvey, Zac and Kendyl Harvey, Brody Harvey, and Asher Harvey; his little buddy, Aedien White; his best friends, Mark Robinson and Mack Altizer; and several other cousins along with a host of other relatives and friends.

   A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at the  Bruno Church of God at Bruno with Rev. Roger Frye officiating.

   In honor of Billy’s wishes his remains have been cremated.
