Seth Marion Whittaker, 15, of Amherstdale, went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2018, leaving from CAMC-Women’s and Children’s Hospital after complications of the rare genetic disorder EB.
He was born November 6, 2002, at
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Joseph “Joe” Miller; two special uncles, Jon Avery Miller and Eugene Grimmett.
Seth loved people and fishing. He had a talent for music teaching himself to play the guitar and sing. He loved to share his talent with his family and on facebook.
Those left to cherish his memory and to miss him are his mother, Daisy Whittaker; one brother, Joseph Whittaker of Amherstdale; his grandmothers, Teresa Miller of Amherstdale and Myra Ellis of Kistler; his beloved great-grandmother that he loved like a mother, Miriam “Teen” Miller of Amherstdale; a special home bound teacher, Belinda Brumfield and her grandson, Joe; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man where a service will be held at 7 p.m. with Pastor Dennis Gordon and Pastor P.J. Tomblin speaking.
Seth will be lovingly laid to rest among his family at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
