Of Davin, WV
Janet Sue Trent, 67, of Davin, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center, after a short illness.
She was born on June 30, 1950, at Earling, a daughter of the late Alfa and Vada Dale Walls Brunty.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Junior and Roy Brunty; and two sisters, Ruth O'Neil and Edna Dean.
Janet was a home maker. She was a 1968 graduate of Man High School. Janet enjoyed going to church, attending Becco United Baptist Church and Davin Baptist Church when she was able. Janet loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. An animal lover, Janet doted on her canine companions, Jack and Susie. She enjoyed watching old westerns and Days of Our Lives on television.
Those left to cherish her memory are her former husband and father of her children, Reed Trent of Man; two daughters, Theresa (Harley) Adams of Harts and Pamela (Gene) Beaver of Elk Creek; six grandchildren, Katie (Terry) Bragg of Cyclone, Austin (Shania) Walker of Elk Creek, Matthew Grimmett of Stanley, NC, Keisha (Aaron) Brown of Isaban, Kaylie Toler of Harts, and Cannon Adams of Harts; seven great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Lyric, Braxton, Zander, Rhett, Renessma, and Ariella due to arrive in 2018; three sisters, Linda Osborne, Charlotte (Oza) Osborne, and Shirlene Goodman, all of OH; one brother, Ben (Christine) Brunty of IN; her best friend, Jackie Wasserman of Davin; many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man and one hour prior to services at the funeral home also.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Pall bearers will be grandsons and friends.
