Mable Ann Fobert
Of Lorado, WV
Mable Ann Fobert, 66, of Lorado, went home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, from her residence after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born December 5, 1947, at Bruno, the daughter of the late Ross and Effie Emmer Grimmett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hobert Howard Fobert; four sisters, Allie Fowler, Lottie Goodman, Lydia Goodman, and Jane Rosenberry; and one brother, Ross Grimmett, Jr.
Mabel was a home maker who loved caring for her family and attended Lundale Freewill Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two children, Brady Keith (Christy) Fobert of Princeton and Tammy Licon of Boarcreek; three brothers, James Russell Grimmett of Huff Creek, Kenny (Annette) Grimmett of Bruno, and Earnest (Beverly) Grimmett of Lorado; seven grandchildren including a cherished grandson which she raised, William Licon; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, October 24, 2014, at the Lundale Freewill Baptist Church at Lundale with Rev. Bobby Adkins and Rev. Bill Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1:00 PM at the church.
Pall bearers will be her nephews.
