Betty Sue Grimmett
Of Davin, WV
Betty Sue Grimmett, 76, of Davin, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 27, 2013, from Trinity Healthcare at Logan, after a long illness.
She was born June 12, 1937, in Logan County, the daughter of the late Raymond and Georgia Adkins Brumfield.
Also preceding her in death were her husband, Alfred Eugene Grimmett; and one son, Edward Earl Grimmett.
Betty was a cook formerly employed with Tape Hut at Man. Her home church was Claypool United Methodist Church, while at Trinity Healthcare she faithfully attended the non denomination services. She loved to cook and proudly shared her labors of love with neighbors, friends, and family.
Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Phyllis A. (Robert) Elliott and Betty Jean Grimmett, both of Davin; two grandsons, Matthew D. Elliott and Anthony Earl Grimmett; four granddaughters, Jamie Lusk, Jessica Grimmett, Kristina Elliott, and Tasha Grimmett; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013, at the Claypool United Methodist Church at Claypool with Rev. Kevin Farmer officiating.
Honoring Betty's request, her remains have been cremated.
