Obituary of Marie Ella Vest

Marie Ella Vest Of Mallory, WV Marie Ella Vest, 88, of Mallory, went home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday October 15, 2014, from Trinity Health Care of Logan, after a long illness. She was born September 15, 1926, at Williamson, the daughter of the late Henry and Lola Fannin Bentley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Vest; one son, Larry Vest; and two grandchildren, Gary Matthew Vest and Jennifer Milam. Marie was a member of the Claypool United Methodist Church since 1979. One of her fondest memories was when the grandchildren were small and she cooked the entire family a big holiday dinner. Marie was a resident of Trinity Health Care of Logan since May 2012, and the family would like to thank the staff for taking very good care of her. The family would also like to thank the nurses and staff of Logan Regional Medical Center and Dr. Kanuri for all of their wonderful care. Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Florence Milam of Phelps, KY; three sons, Michael (Pam) Vest, who was her caregiver since the death of her husband, Ronnie (Ella) Vest of Marysville, TN, and Gary Vest of Shelbina, MO; 15 grandchildren; several great-grand-children; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Godby with Rev. Sharlene Williams officiating. Family will serve as pall bearers.
