Of Accoville, WV
Nina Gail Plymale, 63, of Accoville, went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, May 12, 2013, from Logan Regional Medical Center, after a long illness.
She was born June 15, 1949, at Cyclone, the daughter of the late Raymond Gordon and Marjorie Lena Ross Murphy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers, Billy Ray, Robert, Roger, Larry, Dennis, Norman, and Glen Murphy.
Nina was a home maker and was of the Freewill Baptist faith. She enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. Devoted to her family, Nina especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 39 years, Roscoe Clyde Plymale of Accoville; two daughters, Lori (Chris) Bowen of Valdosta, GA and Angel (Joey) Lester of Landville; four grandchildren, Justin Lester, Paige Bowen, Aidan Bowen, and Luke Bowen; one brother, Ed (Carol) Murphy of Kyle, TX; three sisters, Anna June Phillips of Clovis, NM, Wilma (Dean) Acord of Franklinton, NC, and Debbie Murphy of Landville; sisters-in-law, Carol Murphy of Landville, Juanita Murphy of Dunlow, Mary Murphy of Sevierville, TN, and Darlene Murphy of Kopperston; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at the Landville Freewill Baptist Church at Landville with Rev. David Campbell and Rev. Bill Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the Landville Freewill Baptist Church and one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be Michael "Porky" Murphy, Nicholas Reedy, Todd Saunders, Justin Johnson, Jason Gibson, and John McCoy.
Honorary pall bearers will be Chris Bowen and Joey Lester.
