Obituary of Miss Athena Shea Plymale

Athena Shea Plymale Of Lyburn, WV Athena Shea Plymale, the daughter of Josh and Stevie Browning Plymale, was born September 22, 2011, at 1:17 p.m. at Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan. She weighed 6 pounds and 6 ounces and was 19 ¾ inches long. Athena's family was blessed with one year, five months, and 17 days before she went to her heavenly home on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 7:20 p.m., from Cabell-Huntington Hospital at Huntington, after a courageous battle with Alper's Syndrome. Athena was cuddled, loved, and showered with many hugs and kisses and was told over and over again how much she was loved. She passed away in the loving arms of her Mommy and Daddy while surrounded by her loving family. As Jesus received her she was also greeted by her great-grandparents, James Plymale, Frank Bailey, and Margie Chippent. Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her loving parents, are her maternal grandfather, Larry Browning of Lyburn; her maternal grandmother, Debbie Browning of Taplin; her paternal grandparents, James and Trish Plymale of Myrtle Beach, SC; her paternal grandmother, Candi Dahn of Kissimmee, FL; her great-grandparents, Earl and Sue Browning of Lyburn and Donna Plymale of Landville; her uncle and aunts, Matt and Megan Browning of Mallory, Little Larry Browning of Lyburn; and Eric and Tiffany Plymale of Kistler; many other aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins. Athena's short life was a gift from God to her Mommy and Daddy and her family and friends. She now lives in our hearts. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Bryan C. Baker officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
