Obituary of Sally B. Franklin Doss

Mrs. Sally B. Franklin Doss Of Estill Springs, TN Mrs. Sally B. Franklin Doss, 83, of Estill Springs, TN, formerly of Accoville, WV, passed away Monday, January 14, 2013, at her residence. A native of Newland, NC, she was born December 30, 1929, the daughter of the late Jesse and Bessie Benfield Franklin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene T. Doss, Sr.; three sisters; and three brothers. She was a homemaker and enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, painting, and flower gardening. Those left to cherish her memory are four sons, Eugene T. Doss, Jr. of Estill Springs, TN, James E. Doss and his wife, Susan, of Accoville, WV, Ronnie Doss and his wife, Kathy, of Kistler, WV, and Johnny Doss and his wife, Paula, of Amherstdale, WV; two daughters, Patricia Kier and her husband, Fred, of Lynchburg, TN and Joanne Criswell of Murfreesboro, TN; two brothers, R. J. Franklin and his wife, Doris, of Oregon and Paul Franklin and his wife, Louise, of NC; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, January 18, 2013, from 10 A.M. until 12 P.M. at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man, WV. Graveside services will follow at 1 P.M. at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby, WV with Rev. Buddy Hager officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
