Clifford Lee "Spike" Mangus
Of Mooresville, TN
Clifford Lee "Spike" Mangus, 56, of Mooresville, TN, formerly of Man, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012, in Hawkings Hospital at Mooresburg, TN following a lingering illness.
He was born March 13, 1956, at Columbus, OH, the son of Dorothy Trent Mangus of Greenvalley, WV and the late Jennings Ray Mangus.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jennings Edwin "Eddie" Mangus.
Clifford was a graduate of Man High School, Class of 1974. A coal miner, Clifford became disabled after 26 years of service. He was a member of the Aracoma Lodge AF & AM #99 of Logan.
Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his mother, are his wife of 20 years, Mary Ann Mangus; three sons, Jarrett (Kerri) Mangus of Slidell, LA, Brad Mangus of Charleston, WV, and Brandon Mangus of Madison, WV; one step-daughter, Brittany Fault at home; one sister, Brenda (Paul) Perry of Greenvalley, WV; three brothers, Ernie (Kay) Mangus of Greenvalley, WV, Michael (Abbi) Mangus of Baisden, WV, and Phillip (Tina) Mangus of Sissonville, WV; and five grandchildren, Landon, Isaiah, Colton, Hunter, and Paige; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home Chapel at Man, WV with Rev. Gary Baker officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to services.
Honoring Clifford's wishes, his remains have been cremated.
