Of Man, WV
Muriel June Browning, 82, of Man, joined her two daughters in Heaven Friday, July 13, 2012.
She was born May 18, 1930, in Carter County, KY, the daughter of the late Merl Williams and Norma Dickerson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia A. Liming and Carolyn S. Jarrell.
Muriel loved taking care of elderly people and her great-grandchildren. She was a retired employee of Arch of WV. A Christian, Muriel enjoyed attending various churches and was an avid supporter of religious charities. She liked to read, collect cook books, and cook.
Those left to cherish her memory are four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Angela D. King of Henlawson, Christy L. Liming and her husband, James E. Bland, of Melbourne, FL, Katherine L. Stamper and her daughters, Payton E. Stamper and Layken G. Vance, all of Chapmanville, and Kimberly D. Ross and her son, Joshua T. Ross, both of Kistler; one sister, Betty Robar of MA; her son-in-law, Roger D. Liming of Chapmanville; and a special caregiver, Shannon Brown; along with a host of other family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill with Rev. Bobby Adkins officiating.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
