Of Man, WV
Mary E. Rowe, 86, of Man, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012.
She was born June 17, 1926, at Taplin, the daughter of the late Ellis and Sarah Convery England.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Mabel E. Coffman.
Mary was a home maker and a member of the St. Edmund Catholic Church at Man. She was a graduate of DeSales Academy at Parkersburg. Mary attended Berea College at Berea, KY and graduated from St. Francis School of Professional Nursing at Charleston. During WWII Mary served her country by working for the United States government.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Bob Rowe; three daughters, Sally (Larry) Wickline of Beckley, Becky (Elmer) Bailey of Man, and Susan Rowe of Charleston; three grandchildren, Larry (Kathleen) Wickline II of Beckley, Andrea Bailey and her fiancé, Seth Hoblitzel, of Charleston, and Joe Wickline of Pittsburgh; and one great-grandson, Trey Wickline of Beckley, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012, at St. Edmund Catholic Church at Man with Father Yesu Golla, H.G.N. officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Friends may call one hour prior to services at the St. Edmund Catholic Church Social Hall.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Edmund Catholic Church, 106 North Bridge St., Man, WV 25635
Pall bearers will be Larry Wickline, II, Joe Wickline, David Brooks, Gary Cline, Alan Doss, and Derek Miller.
