Benjamin Harrison Brown, Jr.
Of Man, WV
Benjamin Harrison Brown, Jr., 80, of Man, went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 17, 2012, from St. Mary's Medical Center at Huntington, after a short illness.
He was born March 22, 1932, at Greenville, the son of the late Benjamin Harrison Sr. and Dorothy Jane O'Donnel Brown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters; three step-sons, Ray Bob Toler, Edward Lee Ball, and Danny Ray Ball; and one step-daughter, Vicky Ball.
Jr. enjoyed fishing and spending time with his wife and his grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Mary Gladys Daniels Brown; one step-daughter, Susan (Rusty) Maynard of Edgarton; one step-son, Curtis Eugene Ball of Man; one adopted daughter, Shana (Woodrow) Cline of Hanover; two grandsons, Keith Edward Ball of Man and Edward Ray Clayton Bartram residence unknown; seven great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Nash, Matthew Cline, Kiera Cline, Austin Chapman, Bryce Chapman, Keith Benjamin Ball, and Kristen Cline; and several nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at the Hunt Freewill Baptist Tabernacle at Hunt with Rev. Butch Cobb and Rev. Jesse Cline officiating. Burial will follow in the Ball Family Cemetery at Jeffrey.
Visitation will be held from 6-10 p.m. Monday at the church and one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
