Jefferson Homer "Jeff" Fox, 49, of Amherstdale, departed this life Friday, November 11, 2011, from his home.
He was born February 27, 1962, in Logan County, the son of the late James Franklin and Tressie Nelson Fox.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Christina Osborne; two brothers, Joe Fox and James Franklin "Brud" Fox; one sister, Frances Music; and one sister-in-law, Dianna Jean Fox.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of almost 10 years, Brenda Gail Rice Fox of Amherstdale; three step-children who were like his own, Shawn Michael Maynard at home, Scott Anthony Maynard Jr. of Kistler, and Tiffany Lynn Maynard of Lorado; six sisters, Sharon Lou Russell of Mullins, Ella Mae (Larry) Massey of Clear Fork, Rev. Rosemary (Roy Lee, Sr.) Lamb of Davin, Ruby Jean "Jeanie" Fox of Paintsville, KY, Sally Diana (James) Johnston of Bruno, and Eunice Ilene (Leonard) Hoosier of Oceana; two brothers, William Earl "Billy" Fox of Oceana and Robert Lloyd (Cathy) Fox of Amherstdale; and several nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will commence at 12 Noon, Thursday, November 17, 2011, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Cook Cemetery at Lynco.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be Leonard Hoosier, Jackie Hoosier, Willie Justice, Sherman Vance, Robert Fox Jr., and Roland Block.
