Obituary of Joseph Tallarico

Joseph "Joe" Tallarico, 85 of South Man, died at home Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Born September 16, 1926 at Cranco, he was the son of the late Dominic and Josephine Pecora Tallarico. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Jean Tallarico; and his brother, Anthony "Tony" Tallarico. Joe was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Japan. He began his mining career at The Lorado Coal Company and ultimately retired from the Pittston Coal Company. Surviving are his siblings, Ralph (Frances) Tallarico of Columbus, Ohio; Frances Tallarico of Charleston, WV; Louise Tallarico Chandler of Davin, WV; Madeline (Charles) Dixon of Ormond Beach, FL; and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2011, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with the most Reverend Father John McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Joe's friends & family are welcome to visit an hour prior to the service at the fruneral home. Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man is in charge of the arrangements.
