Obituary of Jamie Allen Vance

Jamie Allen Vance Of Man, WV Jamie Allen Vance, 44, of Man, departed this world to join his loved ones on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at Charleston. He was born January 20, 1967, at Man, the son of the late Betty Spears and Ronald Spears and Rev. Johnny Vance of Omar. In addition to his mother and step-father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Eugene Poston; and two uncles, William Poston and Gene Poston. Jamie was a disabled former employee of Man Clothing and Jewelry at Man. He loved the adventure of traveling, music, attending concerts, and joking around. A talented artist, Jamie was able to translate his love of the outdoors through his drawing ability. Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his father, are his daughter, Kimberlee Vance and her mother, Dorothy Rexroad, both of Man; his sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Danny Walls of Man; his grandmother, Inez Poston of Amherstdale; his uncles and aunts, Kelly and Kay Poston of Amherstdale, Pat and Tom Belcher of Beckley, and Dianne Poston of TX; two step-sisters, Diane and Rachael Wells; two step-brothers, David and Gene Wells; and many cousins along with a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
