Obituary of Lena Trent Hatfield

Lena Trent Hatfield Of Browning Fork, WV Lena Trent Hatfield, 72, of Browning Fork, departed this life Saturday, October 01, 2011, at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born September 14, 1939, at Hunt, a daughter of the late Dewey and Stella Grimmett Trent. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving sons, Elba Turley Hatfield Jr. and Carl Edward Hatfield; one grandson, Austin Hatfield; two sisters, Magdalene Altizer and Arbadella Justice; two brothers, Hulan Trent and Hubert Trent, and a special sister-in-law, Carnetta Sizemore. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 52 years, Elba Hatfield; her loving children, Celia (Mark) Clemmons of Kermit, WV, Elvis Hatfield of Browning Fork, WV, Loretta (Jerry) Ward of Pineville, WV, Mary (Terry) Carter of Browning Fork, WV, Malcolm (Tina) Hatfield of Beach Creek, WV, Dewey (Becky) Hatfield of Browning Fork, WV, Stella (Kenny) Blankenship of Gilbert, WV, Brian (Kim) Hatfield of Browning Fork, WV, Connie (Brad) Wicker of Gilbert, WV, Bonnie (Ronnie) Hatfield of Ragland, WV, Stephanie (Billy) Jackson of Browning Fork, WV, Randolph Hatfield of home; thirty-four grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jean (Jay) Story and Linda (Danny) Browning, both of Hunt, and Saundra Cozart of Brooksville, FL; six brothers, Donzel (Christine) Trent and Reed Trent, both of Elk Creek, WV, Walter (Bugs) Trent of Mason County, WV, Doug (Lynndora) Trent and Dolan (Anna) Trent, both of Hunt, WV, and Marshall (Joann) Trent of Brooksville, FL; many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will commence at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, at the Hunt Freewill Baptist Tabernacle. Burial will follow in Carter Cemetery at Browning Fork, WV. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Pallbearers will be Cory Hatfield, Chad Story, T.W. Hatfield, Billy Jackson, Kenny Blankenship, and Jeremiah Hatfield. Honorary Pallbearers will be Casey Wiley, Josh Hatfield, Brad Wicker, Josh Fanning, Dale Browning, Travis Hatfield, Paul Hatfield, and Brad Story. A special thanks to Chad Story.
