Obituary of Jesse Albright

Jesse Albright Of Amherstdale, WV Jesse Albright, 78, of Amherstdale, went home to be with the Lord Monday, June 27, 2011, from St. Francis Hospital at Charleston after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 2, 1933, at Lorado, a son of the late John Thomas and Adaline Brunty Albright. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Goldie Adkins and Virlie Clay; and five brothers, James Albright, Meardie Albright, John Albright, Robert Albright, and Donnie Albright. Jesse was a retired coal miner having last worked for Pittston Coal Company. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Jesse was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his wife Kay, children, grandchildren, and all who knew him. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Kay Albright; three daughters, Tina (Phillip) Mangus of Sissonville, Adaline (Timmy) Clark of Beckley, and Melissa (David) Whitson of Green Mountain, NC; four grandchildren, Phillip, Nicky, Jessica, and Adam; three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Conner, and Brody; a host of special nieces and nephews; and a special nephew with whom he enjoyed hunting, Billy Clay. At his request his remains have been cremated and there will be no memorial service. I love you forever. Your wife, Kay.
