Obituary of Michael Shane Lester

Michael Shane Lester Of Davin, WV Michael Shane Lester, 37, of Davin, departed this life on Sunday, July 20, 2014, from his residence. He was born April 4, 1977, at Logan, a son of John and Darlene Spears of Holden and the late James "Hot Rod" Lester. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tilden and Oma Lester. Shane was a 1995 Man High School graduate and was an avid outdoorsman. Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents, are two sons, Bryce and Nickolas Lester of Holden; the mother of his children, Nycole Lester of Huntington; one brother, J.D. (Melissa) Lester of Murrells Inlet, SC; maternal grandparents, Bob and Icelene Adkins of Davin; and many aunts and uncles along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home Chapel at Man with Rev. Johnny Hatfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home also. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
