Bogle Trent
Of Braeholm, WV
Bogle Trent, 86, of Braeholm went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 11, 2014, from his home, after an extended illness.
He was born June 30, 1928, at Emmett, the son of the late Clifford and Della Lusk Trent.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Muncy Trent; one son, Rodney Trent; three brothers, Henry "T" Trent, Johnny Trent, and Gene Trent; and two sisters, Wanda Trent and Arizona Trent Jude; and two brothers-in-law, Sam Browning, Sr. and Steve Looney.
Bogle was a coal miner for 34 years, who retired from Island Creek Coal Company. He was a member of the Taplin Freewill Baptist Church. A man who loved the mountains, Bogle enjoyed hunting, berry picking, and digging gensing.
Those left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Brenda Kay and Yvonne Trent of Cincinnati, OH; three sisters, Juanita (Robert) Irby of Huntington, and Carolyn Looney and Pauline Browning, both of Kistler; one brother, Hebert (Della) Trent of Crites; one special brother-in-law, Floyd (Rose) Muncy of Jenny's Creek; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Vicky and Crystal for the care and kindness they gave Bogle throughout the years.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at the Taplin Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Gene Goodman assisted by Rev. Tommy Wiley and Rev. Roger Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in Jacob-Messer Cemetery at Jenny's Creek near Kermit.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home, where a church service will begin at 7 p.m. Friends may also call one hour prior to services at the church.
Pall bearers will be the men of the Taplin Freewill Baptist Church.
