Drema Sue Copley
Of Gilman Bottom, WV
Drema Sue Copley, 61, of Gilman Bottom, went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 13, 2010, from Logan Regional Medical Center at Logan, after a long illness.
She was born January 1, 1949, at Logan, a daughter of Paul and Myrtle Sizemore Ellison of Rita.
Drema was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Ellison.
She was a home maker. A loving mother and grandmother, Drema loved spending time with her family and watching movies.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 42 years, Ralph Copley, Sr. of Gilman Bottom; one daughter, Belinda (Greg) McCloud of McConnell; two sons, Ralph (Renee) Copley, Jr. of Mallory and Danny (Christine) Copley of Scott Depot; five grandchildren, Bobby McCloud of McConnell, Tara (Kyle) Brown of Whitman, Adam Copley and Ashlee Copley, both of Mallory, and Katey Spaulding of Scott Depot; two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Jace Brown of Whitman; her parents, Paul and Myrtle Sizemore Ellison of Rita; three sisters, Janice (James) Curry of TN, Teresa (Roy) Toler of Delbarton, and Mary (Joe) Blair of Rita; six brothers, Johnny (Rosa) Ellison of Ethel, Larry (Lisa) Ellison, Paul (Barbara) Ellison Jr., and Jackie (Carol) Ellison, all of Rita, and Kenneth (Sherrie) Ellison and Donald (Jean) Ellison, both of NC; and 64 nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will commence at 1 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2010, at the Taplin Free Will Baptist Church at Taplin with Rev. Gene Goodman and Rev. Treaby Scaggs officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the church and one hour prior to services at the church also.
Pall bearers will be Kyle Brown, Mark Spaulding, Sheldon Wells, Charles Belcher, Willard Spence, and Justin Spence.
