Of South Man
Edith Hager Molly, 91, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 17, 2010, after a long blessed life. She was born September 30, 1918, at Earling, WV, a daughter of the late Walter and Georgia Brumfield Hager. She will join her husband, Frank Molly, in their new heavenly home.
Edith was a retired cook formerly employed with the Logan County Board of Education.
Loved ones preceding her in death were; James Molly, Lugine, Jim and his wife, Gertrude, Joe, John, Angeline, and Mary Frances White, Elizabeth Paluso and her husband, Louie, Jimmy Muschera, Edna Smith, Jewell Trent, Jimbo Bost, and Frankie Lopetrone.
Those left behind whom she loved are her daughter, Patsy Molly O’Brien and her beloved son-in-law, Robert Patrick O’Brien of South Man, WV; her adopted by love daughter, Virginia Cook of Ohio; four grandsons, Robert O’Brien and his wife, Traci, and Sean O’Brien and his wife, Brenda, both of TX, Joshua O’Brien of NC, and Joel O’Brien of WV; three great-grandsons, Mitchell Ghee of MS, and Kyle O’Brien, and Brody O’Brien, both of TX; two granddaughters, Mary Shannon O’Brien and her husband, Bill, of MO and Bethany Howerton of WV; three great-granddaughters, Erika Mayfield and her husband, Blake, of MS, and Megan O’Brien and Erin O’Brien, both of TX; 15 nieces, Barbara White, Mari White, and Elizabeth White Songer and her husband, Steve, Nancy White Black, Mitzi Rick and her husband, Freddy, Patty, , Angela, and Tina Muschera, all of WV, Teresa Muschera of NC, Barbara Parmley of TX, Toni Herald and her husband, Dave, Donna, and Judy, all of MI, Georgianne and Bonnie of OH; three great-nieces, Kate Elizabeth Parker and her husband, Bryan, Kelli Veres and her husband, Mikey, and Maggie White all of WV; seven nephews, John White II and his wife, Shellie, Pat Joe White, Michael White, and Ronnie Muschera, all of WV, Pat White and his wife, Nadine, and David Andrew White, all of TX, and Sandy Slovitsky of PA; five great-nephews, Adam Black, John White III and his wife, Melissa, Brandon White and his wife, Courtney, John Connor White, and Drake Veres, all of WV; and many other cherished family members and friends.
Our family is thankful to Diane Hall, Cecilia Cheek, Monetta Cheek, Claudia Cook, the Man High School Staff, neighbors, Dr. Tuanquin, Fifth Floor Staff at LRMC, and Dignity Hospice (Angie, Kayla, Paula, and Peggy) for all their love and support through this transitional time in our lives.
There will be no service at this time, but a memorial will be scheduled at a later date. She is loved and will be greatly missed by all.
