Mary Ellen Williams
Of Braeholm, WV
Mary Ellen Williams, 28, of Braeholm, joined her father in heaven Saturday, March 6, 2010, from Logan Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 18, 1981, in Logan County, a daughter of Brenda Sue Gunnells Williams of Lundale and the late Charles Ray Williams.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Elvis Gunnells; her paternal grandfather, Edison Williams; one aunt, Kathy Lynn Williams Simpkins; three uncles, Bennie Williams, Foster Gunnells, and Bill Gunnells.
Mary was a 1999 honor graduate of Man High School. She attended SWVCC where she worked in the student record department during the 2008-2009 school terms. Mary was a member of the Big Spring Missionary Baptist Church at Mallory.
Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Brett Williams at home; one daughter, Kira Williams at home; her mother, Brenda Sue Gunnells Williams of Lundale; one sister, Shannon Rae (Wilson “Beaner” Evans) Williams of Rita; her maternal grandmother, Gertrude Gunnells of Logan formerly of Braeholm; her paternal grandmother, Jean Williams of Robinette; her companion, Jason Evans of Mud Fork; the father of her children, Lawrence Copley of Accoville; special friends, Robin Weiner of Logan and Tom Gilco of Accoville; one special niece, Keeleigh Evans of Rita; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2010, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. John T. Cain officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
The remains have been cremated.
