Rev. Victor Lee Berry
Of Accoville, WV
Victor Lee Berry, 58, of Accoville went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 19, 2010, from his home after a long illness.
He was born October 8, 1951, at Logan, a son of the late Milton and Irene Cooper Berry.
Victor was also preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Janet Bare Berry; and one sister, Phyllis Winters.
A devoted Christian, Victor was called to be a minister at the age of 19 and faithfully served in the Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to his ministry, he was a loving father, a great friend and a light to all those around him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Edward (Linda) Berry of Accoville; one daughter, Victoria (Gregory) Evans of Charlotte, NC; three granddaughters, Tori and Tia Evans of Accoville and Ashley Johnson of Whitman; one great-grandson, Joseph Isaiah Runyon of Whitman; two sisters, Edith Kelso of FL and Roberta Christopher of Columbus, OH; one brother, Ray (Diana) Berry of Columbus, OH; special friends, Lisa (Eric) Bryant, Melissa Centeno, and Cody Nelson; a very special friend, Helen Viars; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2010, from 6-9 p.m. at the Becco United Baptist Church at Becco where a service will begin at 7 p.m. with Rev. Denver McClellan and Rev. John Viars officiating.
The remains will be cremated.
Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man is in charge of the arrangements.
