Cora Faye Deflumeri
Of Man, WV
Cora Faye Deflumeri, 71, of Man, departed this world to be with the Lord on Friday, December 16, 2017, leaving from her residence after a sudden illness.
She was born on January 29, 1946, at Man, a daughter of the late Teddy Ray and Letty Pearl Ellis Grimmett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Deflumeri; and her siblings, Rev. Reba Mitchell, Gary Grimmett, Eugene Grimmett, Sharon Walls, and Patricia Grimmett.
Cora was a retired school bus driver formerly employed with the Logan County Board of Education. She was a faithful Christian who loved her brothers and sisters in Christ. She enjoyed singing gospel songs in church. Cora loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Rodney Keith (Lynne) Deflumeri of Chapin, SC and Michael Anthony Deflumeri of Ona; one daughter, Vallory Lynn Deflumeri of Culloden; seven grandchildren, Ashley Dawn Deflumeri, Brandy Lynn Deflumeri, Terri Yvonne Deflumeri, Ashton Conley, Emily McCartney, Misti Dawn Sexton, and Eric Ray (Brooke Gurkins) Sexton; her siblings, Rev. Sherman (Margaret) Grimmett, Arlon (Joan) Grimmett, Rev. Jackie (Sherri) Grimmett, Terry Grimmett, Dallas (Teresa) Grimmett, Shelby Ellis, and Wanda Gibson; and six great-grandchildren, Hunter Ray Sexton, Emmaley Lynn Sexton, Jaxon Lee, Destiny Brooke Wilder, Brayden Deflumeri, and Khylah Byrd.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Sherman Grimmett officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home also.
