Obituary of Delia Ellien Johnson

Delia Ellien Walker Of Robinette, WV Delia Ellien Johnson, 62, of Robinette, departed this life on Monday, October 2, 2017, at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 30, 1955, at Man, a daughter of the late Verlin Hugh and Elva Scites Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Woodrow, James, Larry, David, and Johnny Walker; and one sister, Marion Wingo. Delia worked as an elder care giver for many years and was a home maker. She enjoyed playing candy crusher on her I- pad and spending time with her grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Randall Hugh Walker of Robinette; two grandchildren, Haley Walker and Jacob Walker; two sisters, Linda (Hawk) Lamb of Smith Mountain Lake, VA and Anita (Ronnie) Eldridge of Lawsonville, NC; one brother, Jerry (Johanna) Walker of Verner; and several nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2017, at the Pathway Church of God at Christian where funeral services will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Rev. Rindy Canterbury officiating. Pall bearers will be family and friends. In honor of Delia's wishes her remains will be cremated.
