Frances "Frankie" Lamb
Of Bruno, WV
Frances "Frankie" Lamb, 86, of Bruno, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 8, 2014, from Raleigh General Hospital, after a long illness.
She was born June 8, 1928, at Christian, the daughter of the late Alex and Mary Eastridge Harris.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer "Tag" Lamb; two sons, Roger Lamb and James Lamb; three sisters, Geraldine Grimmett, Vernie Belcher, and Nellie Trent; and two brothers, Dennis Harris, and Damon Harris.
Frankie was a retired produce clerk formerly employed at Burgess and Lohn Supermarket. She was a member of the Bruno Church of God. A very loving mother, Frankie enjoyed spending time with her family and playing rummy for fun.
Those left to cherish her memory are seven children, Marge Sorrell of West Land, MI, Betty (Orville "Junior") Reed of Dearborn Heights, MI, Elmer "Hawk" (Linda) Lamb of Smith Mtn. Lake, VA, Karen Sue (Mark) Callison of Cyclone, Joan (Arlon) Grimmett of Bruno, Ronald "Cobb" (Beth) Lamb of Smith Mtn. Lake, VA, and Jerry Lamb of Bruno; one sister-in-law, Essie Harris of Columbus, OH; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Roger Frye officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home also.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
