Obituary of Carl Kenton Barker

Carl Kenton Barker Of Kistler, WV Carl Kenton Barker, 50, of Kistler, departed this life unexpectedly on Sunday, September 17, 2017, at Kistler. He was born on March 11, 1967, at Man, a son of Phyllis Elaine Fox Barker of Kistler and the late Carl Basil Barker. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Margaret Fox and Basil and Pearl Barker; and one nephew, Christopher Vance. Carl was a 1985 graduate of Man High School. He was a disabled construction worker. Carl enjoyed sports, hunting, 4-wheeling and anything to do with the outdoors and nature. He loved his pit bulls, Lucy and Shy. Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Rhonda "Candy" McCoy Barker; six children, Keely Barker, Nicolas Rodriguez, Samantha McCoy, Alexis McCoy, Megan McCoy, and Abigail McCoy; one sister, Connie (Karl) DeLong of Pelion, SC; and one niece, Tiffany (Daniel) Amyx of Pelion, SC; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2017, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Mike Pollard and Rev. Earl Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home also. Pall bearers will be family and friends.
