Obituary of Robert Edward McCloud

Robert Edward McCloud Of Davin, WV Robert Edward McCloud, 34, of Davin, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, July 23, 2017, leaving from his earthly home, after an extended illness. He was born September 26, 1982, at Logan, a son of Gregory O'Dell and Belinda Sue Copley McCloud of Davin. Bob was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Drema Copley and Rebecca McCloud Ely; and his grandfather, O'Dell McCloud. He enjoyed the outdoors especially riding 4-wheelers. One of his favorite daily rituals was walking to his Popaw's house to visit. Bob spent many happy hours watching movies and playing with his niece, Jayden and nephews, Jace and Trent. Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents, are one sister, Tara (Kyle) Brown of Whitman; his Popaw, Ralph Copley of Davin; one niece, Jayden Brown of Whitman; two nephews, Jace and Trent Brown, both of Whitman; Aunts and Uncles, Ralph, Jr. and Renee Copley of Neibert, Danny Copley and Christine Spaulding of Scott Depot, Lisa Burgess and Chris Peck of Charleston, Bev and Ronald Dress of Whitman, Donna McCloud Green of FL, Angie and Jeff Reagan of Verdunville, Scott and Phoebe McCloud of Charleston, and Kim Williams of Holden; and many cousins along with a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Friday, July 28, 2017, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home and one hour prior to services also. Pall bearers will be Kyle Brown, Justin Taylor, Scott McCloud, Ralph Copley, Jr., Danny Copley, and Adam Copley.
