Pamela Jean Linville
Of Amherstdale, WV
Pamela Jean Linville, 59, of Amherstdale, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, from her home, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born September 21, 1954, at Man, the daughter of the late Casey George and Freda Lucille Moore Linville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her baby sister, Susan Linville; and two brothers, Leon Linville and Butch Linville.
Pam was a 1972 graduate of Man High School. She worked at State Farm Insurance Company at Man for over 25 years. Pam enjoyed sewing, gardening, crafts, and spending time with friends, her family, and especially her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are three children, David Michael (Ann) Corns of Huntington, Joey (Amanda) Corns of Man; and Rebecca (Ben) Timmons of Aurora, OH; seven grandchildren, Katie and Shelby Lunsford, Devin Corns, Loren and Macy Corns, and Carley and Will Timmons; several nieces and nephews; and a host of very special friends including, Peggy Toler, Sharon Robertson, Patty Lewis, Linda Cook, Terri Lynn Burgess, Kimberly Vance, and Kara Cook.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2014, at the Claypool United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the church and one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be Devin Corns, Ben Timmons, Jack McDaniels. III, Art Kirkendoll, James Miller, and Joey Ratliff.
