Alice Sue Depta
of Lyburn, WV
Alice Sue Depta, 84, of Lyburn, departed this life on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness.
She was born on May 31, 1932, at Taplin, a daughter of the late George Alexander and Mary Mildred Johnson Jeffries.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Joe Depta; daughter, Sandra Depta; grand-daughter, Crystal Lusk, and two brothers, James Jeffries and Jackie Thomas Jeffries.
Alice was a home maker and a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading and working puzzles.
Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Brenda Lusk of McConnell and Linda (Roger) Evans of Holden; sister, Barbara Campbell of Accoville; brother, Eugene (Frances) Jeffries of Mt. Clemens, MI; several nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home Chapel at Man with Rev. John Godby officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man and one hour prior to services.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
