Obituary of Donald Lee Paynter

Donald Lee "George" Paynter, 54, of Pineville, formerly of Davin, passed away peacefully at Welch Community Hospital on December 3, 2016.
He was born on October 25, 1962, at Man Appalachian Regional Hospital, the son of the late Kelly and Betty Paynter.
George was also preceded in death by two brothers, Timothy Rex and Tommy Jay Paynter; and one sister, Tammy Paynter.
A graduate of Man High School, he was a disabled factory worker.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Diane Vance; two brothers, Teddy (Lisa) Paynter of Inez, KY and Chuck (Debbie) Paynter of Somerset, OH; two sisters, including his twin, Donna Paynter of Kernsville, NC and Debbie (Turk) Bailey of Pineville; and several nieces and nephews.
Per his request, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later time.
