Obituary of William E. Cline

William Ervin "Bill" "Coal Haulin' Daddy" Cline, 76, formerly of the Gilbert and Man areas, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 5, 2016, leaving from Trinity Healthcare of Logan, after a short illness. He was born on June 13, 1940, in Buchanan County, VA, a son of the late Noah and Lacy Norman Cline. Bill was a coal truck driver for over 50 years. He really enjoyed driving and taking care of his coal truck. Before his illness, he attended the Pathway Church of God at Christian. He loved going to church and often attended services at other area churches on nights that Pathway Church of God did not have services. Those left to cherish his memory are his ex-wife and dear friend, Wanda Cline of Kistler; daughter, Tina Cline address unknown; several grandchildren whose addresses are unknown; step-son, Billy Dotson of Robinette; two step-daughters, Tammy Jarrell of Landville and Joannie (Grover) Osburn of Kistler; his step-grandchildren, Kyle Dotson, Chelsay Dotson and her fiancé, Ryan Rogers, Nick Dotson, Ira Dotson, Nikki Dotson, Brooke Osburn, Morgan Jarrell, Blake Morgan, and J.P. Jarrell; and three step-great-grandchildren, Braylon Kyle Dotson, Brylie Dawn Dotson, and Kyliah Jo Dotson along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 10, 2016, at the Pathway Church of God at Christian with Rev. Leslie Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Cline Cemetery at Cub Creek. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the church and one hour prior to services at the church also. Pall bearers will be family and friends.
