Carl Edward "Junior" Good, Jr.
of Erbacon, WV
Carl Edward "Junior" Good, Jr., 68, of Erbacon, formerly of Man, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 13, 2016, leaving from his residence surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with ALS and Myasthenia Gravis disease.
He was born on April 11, 1948, at Charleston, a son of the late Carl Edward and Lorraine May Newhouse Good.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernie, Roy, and Raymond Good; and four sisters, Dreama Copen, Aretta Teel, Faye Taylor, and Belva Teel.
Carl Edward was a retired welder and mechanic formerly employed in the coal industry. He was of the Baptist faith. Carl Edward loved to sing, hunt, fish, and ride 4-wheelers. He was kind and loving man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of five years, Brenda Kay Justice Good; three sons, Carl Anthony Good of KY, Darrin Cecil (Michelle) Good of Coal River, and Steven Edward (Amanda) Good of Charleston; one step-daughter, Heather (Orville) Gibson of Amherstdale; two step-sons, Joey (Amanda) Justice of Pecks Mill and Joshua (Brandi) Justice of Verner; four sisters, Helen Lowers of Erbacon, Linda (Damon Jones) Good, Patty Good, and Beverly (John) Tuell, all of SC; four brothers, Darrell (Rthymnn) Good of Erbacon, Alfred (Barbara) Good of Campbells Creek, Bobby (Brenda) Good of Haines Branch, and Lester (Linda Wimes) Good of Sissonsville; grandchildren, Patrick, Cassandra, Philip, Brandon, Josh, Jeremy, Carley, Jayden, Jace, Lanny, Corey, Ritchie, Christian, Boston, Megan, Colton, James, and Michelle; several great-grandchildren, special friends, Doug and Bonnie Collins and Ralph and Patty Tharp; and many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Cecil Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the funeral home also.
