Leasa Ann Workman
of Christian, WV
Leasa Ann Workman, 50, of Christian, departed this life on Thursday, August 11, 2016, from CAMC-Memorial Division, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on August 22, 1965, at Logan, a daughter of Clifford and Janet Woolwine Browning of Greenville.
Preceding her in death are one sister, Donna Renee Browning; her parents-in-law, Roger and Imajean Blankenship Workman; her maternal grandparents, Charlie and Mary Conley Woolwine; and her paternal grandmother, Shirley India Browning.
Leasa was a former employee of Wendy's and Hardee's at Man. She was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed crafts and was the best cook ever. Her passion was being around her grandson, Ethan Gibson, and looking forward to the birth of her granddaughter, Layla McKinley due to make her arrival in November.
Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her parents, are her husband of nearly 33 years, Roger Workman; two daughters, Angie (Matt) Miller of Christian and Ashley (Matt) Gibson of Accoville; her grandson, Ethan Gibson; her granddaughter who is due to enter this world in November, Layla McKinley; three sisters, Tammy (Rick) Browning, Mary Browning Maynard, and Kim (Mike Trent) Browning, all of Greenville; one brother, Clifford "Cliffy" Browning, Jr. of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2016, at the Hunt Freewill Baptist Tabernacle (Upper Church) at Greenville with Rev. Cecil Bartram and Brother Jimmy Justice officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the church also.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
