Lorraine Short Lester
of Logan, WV
Lorraine Short Lester, 81, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Logan Center Nursing Home.
She was born on August 9, 1937, in Logan, a daughter of the late Luke and Linda Meeks Short.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by two daughters Mary Vance and Nancy Logsdon; one grandson, Tony Logsdon; one sister Birdie Bell White; and one brother Tommy Short.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Curtis Wentworth of WV, Pat (Dan) Curran of TX, and David (Misty) Wentworth of Shawneetown, IL; two sisters, Barb and Judy Cramer of Lexington, NC; one brother, Luke Short, of Mudd Fork; along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A private graveside service was held Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Godby Cemetery, at Chapmanville.
