Obituary of Steven Wayne Copley

Steven "Steve" Copley of Amherstdale, WV Steven Wayne "Steve" Copley, 54, of Amherstdale, departed this life Friday, July 1, 2016, from his home, after a long illness. He was born November 17, 1961, at Logan, a son of Lorine Johnston Copley of Amherstdale and the late Andrew Jackson Copley. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two former companions, Lisa Whitt and Lisa Conn; and his sister-in-law, Tammy Copley. Steve was a 1980 graduate of Man High School. He enjoyed 4-wheeling and spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandson, Brayden. Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his mother, are two sons, Steven Whitt of Amherstdale and Austin Brooks of Lundale; one grandson, Brayden Whitt; one brother, Mark Copley of Amherstdale; and one niece, Ashley Copley of Cross Lanes along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2016, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Harry "Buddy" Hager officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby on Monday. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services at the funeral home also.
