Brooke Ann Lusk
of Lorado, WV
Brooke Ann Lusk, 23, of Lorado, departed this life on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at CAMC-General Division at Charleston of injuries received in an ATV accident.
She was born on September 21, 1992, at Logan, a daughter of Ira Junior Lusk of Lorado and the late Melanie Ann Laws Lusk.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jacob Lusk and Ira Junior Lusk II; and her paternal grandparents, Lucian and Maudie Elswick Lusk.
Brooke was a 2011 graduate of Man High School. She enjoyed 4-wheeling, hunting, and spending time with her family and friends. A well known person, Brooke never met a stranger. Her smile, that could light up a room, will never be forgotten by those who loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her father, are three sisters, Erica Laws of Amherstdale, Miranda (Jeremy) Creech of Chapmanville, and Kristie Lusk of KY; maternal grandparents, Bill and Joyce Franklin Laws of Amherstdale; six nieces and nephews, Patrick and Stephanie Marcum and Chyann, Demetri, J.R., and Chloe Nichols; her aunts and uncles, Billy Joe, Jr. and Barb Laws of Logan, Bobby Joe and Kelly Laws of Amherstdale, John Laws of Christiansburg, VA, Shirley and Johnny Albright and Elizabeth Lusk and Joe Daniels, all of Lorado, Glen and Karen Lusk of Whitman, and David and Cathy Lusk of Lincoln Co.; special cousins with whom she spent a lot of time, Scott and J.J. Daniels, Johnny, Holly, Nathan, Cody, and Kolten Albright, and Thatcher Tomblin; and many other cousins along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2016, at the Lundale Freewill Baptist Church at Lundale with Rev. Eddie Isom and Rev. Donald Lafferty officiating. Burial will follow in Daniels Cemetery at Curtis.
Visitation will be held from 7-10 p.m. at the Lundale Freewill Baptist Church.
Pall bearers will be family and friends.
