Billy Wayne Blevins
of Accoville, WV
Billy Wayne "Bill" Blevins, 74, of Accoville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 17, 2015, leaving from Beckley ARH, after a brief illness.
He was born on January 3, 1941, at Lackie, KY, a son of Margery Mullins Blevins of Accoville and the late Earl Blevins.
In addition to his father, Bill was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Blevins and Ricky Dale Blevins; and one sister, Betty Jo Anderson.
Bill loved to watch WV football and spend time with his family. He was a kind, humble person who loved everyone he met.
Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his mother, are two sisters, Donetta (Bubby) Baisden of Accoville and Janet (Leroy) Chapman of Man; two brothers, Jim (Gloria) Blevins of Man and Jack (Gwen) Blevins of Robinette; four nieces, Stacy (Greg) Atkins, Megan Baisden, Lisa (Chris) Chafin, and Donetta (David) Baker; four nephews, Michael (Laurice) Stevenson, Jimmy Earl Blevins, T.J. (Jessica) Blevins, and Shawn Anderson; four great-nieces, Kaden, Kristen, Charlee, and Kylie; three great-nephews, Caleb, Casey, and Corey; one great-great-niece, Scarlett Victoria; and special caregivers, Debbie Linville and Toni Mays; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2015, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man with Rev. Charles Vance officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home also.
