Drema Diane Bowen
of Man, WV
Drema Diane Bowen, 69, of Man, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 13, 2015, leaving from Logan Regional Medical Center, after a long, courageous battle against cancer.
She was born on August 25, 1946, at Itman, a daughter of the late Ralph and Dossie Mullins Browning.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Max Bowen; and twin infant brothers, Lonnie and Ronnie Browning.
She was the most loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to everyone she met.
Her family was her world, and she will live forever in the hearts of her three children, Shawn (Lynn) Hatfield and Cindy (Brian) Wilkinson, both of Charleston, and Wendy (Marty) Welch of Man; her sister, Brenda (Robert) Edwards of Charleston; and her best friend, Alice Blair of Man.
Others left to treasure her memory include 11 grandchildren, Savannah (Ben) Ellis, Michael (Magan) Hatfield, Brittany Hope Ryan, Katie Hubbard, Kayla Hatfield, Aiden Wilkinson, Seth Hubbard, Jacob Wilkinson, Brooklyn Welch, Gracie Wilkinson, and Breanna Welch; and five great-grandchildren, Luke and Autumn Ellis, Camden and Calvary Hatfield, and Delaney Wilkinson. She also dearly loved her very special pets, Maggie May, Princess, and Jaxon.
Heaven has been blessed with the most precious angel.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In honor of her wishes, her remains have been cremated.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diane's memory to The Paws Squad, Rt. 4 Box 5-F, Chapmanville, WV 25508
The family would like to thank Dr. Kathy Harvey, Dignity Hospice, and the 5th Floor Staff at Logan Regional Medical Center for their care and kindness.
