Obituary of Pauline Jeffrey
Please share a memory of Pauline to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Deloris Pauline Jeffrey, 94, of Mallory, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 28, 2024, leaving Meadow Brook Assisted Living Center in Madison after an extended illness.
She was born on March 12, 1930, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late Cody Nina (Fischer) Jones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life for more than 75 years, her husband, Paul Jeffrey, their son, Thomas Lee "Tommy" Jeffrey; and one brother, Chuck Jones.
Ms. Jeffrey was a member of the Claypool United Methodist Church and a 1948 graduate of Scott High School at Madison. After graduation, she married Paul and worked at Cohen Drug Store, Pic Pac, and Krogers. She enjoyed going to Myrtle Beach. After retirement, Pauline joined S.T.A.R.T. and volunteered with the Logan Regional Medical Center Auxillary.
Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Timothy Ray Jeffrey and his wife Dreama Jeffrey of Kopperston; two grandchildren, Melissa Whitten and Derek Jeffrey, both of Kopperston; seven great-grandchildren, Kendall and her boyfriend Nick, Cassidy, Noah, Kolten, Eli, and Jayden; two great-great-granddaughters, Fraya and Mia; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with a host of other relatives, church family, and friends.
The family would like to thank Marie Hatfield, Meadow Brook Assisted Living, and Hospice of Kanawha for their care and compassion.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man, with Rev. Tim Shuff officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens at Madison.
