Eddie Ray Guy, 64, of Spring Valley, WV, formerly of Neibert, WV, reached his Heavenly Home on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Eddie Ray was born on April 10, 1960, to Cecil and Garnette Jean (McGarey) Guy. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert Lee Guy, and his brother-in-law Eddie Merritt.
Eddie Ray enjoyed all types of music, holidays, and old Westerns. He never forgot a face, always greeting everyone with a huge smile and a big hug. Eddie's gentle nature and kind heart made him a joy to all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory include two sisters, Gloria Jean Merritt of Neibert and Donna Gail Manns of Spring Valley, with whom he made his home; one brother, Cecil Guy Jr., of Spring Valley; and several nieces and nephews.
