Obituary of Gregory K Stephens

Gregory K. Stephens Of Accoville, WV Gregory K. Stephens, 69, of Accoville, WV, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on August 22, 2024, after a short illness Greg was born on October 28, 1954 in Huntington, WV to the late Carmenita Stephens. In addition to his Mother, he is preceded in death by one brother, Russell Stephens; his beloved Dog “Bear” Stephens. In 2019 Greg gave his life to the Lord. Greg Loved being a Christian, sharing his Love for the Lord and testifying about all of the wonderful things that the Lord had provided and blessed him with. He was a faithful member of the Crown Freewill Baptist Church and loved each and every one of his church brothers and sisters. He was a giving, selfless and kind soul who loved his family immensely and would do anything for them. He proudly served in the United States Army for ten years with an honorable discharge. Greg will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Those left to cherish Greg’s memory is the love of his life, Tammy Stephens; his Children, Nicholas (Jessica) Blaylock, Brandy (Shane) Mangus, Terry (Whitney) Chapman, and Jacob (Angel) Chapman; Nine Grandchildren, Dalton, Kristina, Madison, Katelynn, Jaxon, Colton, Brian, Connor, and Eliza; three sisters, Shirley (Ed) Mullis, Sherrie (Paul) Selby, and Laura Malone; one brother Kevin Stephens. Many nieces nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Krantz McNeely Funeral Home in Man, WV. Funeral services will begin Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Crown Freewill Baptist, with Rev. Charles Vance and Rev. Jody Rose officiating. In Honor of Greg’s wishes his remains will be cremated following services.
