Obituary of Inez Mae Harris
Please share a memory of Inez to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Inez Mae ”Bug” Harris, 71, of Verner, went to be with the Lord on August 02, 2024, leaving her home after a short illness.
“Bug” was born on May 17, 1953, in Man, to the late James Clay and Ruth Eileen (Wheller) Lester.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Donna Kay Backus.
"Bug" enjoyed being a homemaker, taking amazing care of her family. Her favorite pastimes included singing, camping, cooking, being outdoors in nature, working with her flowers, Ginsinging with her husband, shopping online, and spending time with her dog Cody. Her family was everything to her, and she adored all of her grandbabies. When she was able, Bug enjoyed planning and preparing family get-togethers, especially during the holidays. Bug always ensured those gatherings were times of good food, karaoke, and playing games. Every August, the whole family went camping, where precious memories were made.
“Bug” is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roger Harris of Spice Creek; two sons, Michael and his wife Rose Harris of Baisden; Jason and his wife Angela Harris of Spice Creek; one grandson, Jason Dale Jr. of Wharencliff; four Grand-daughters Jodi Harris of Baisden, Jacey Jo Harris of Chapmanville, Jaylyn Harris of Spice Creek, and Summer Tiller of Verner; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Monday, August 5th, 2024, at the Krantz-McNeely Funeral Home at Man.
